LITTLE REMINDERS:
- In honor of Israel's 60th year of statehood, we have made arrangements to visit the Sons Of Abraham Synogogue in Lafayette on Friday, May 2. Services begin at 8 pm. There will be a sign up sheet on the bulletin board if you would be interested in attending.
Don't forget the annual Mother / Daughter Banquet coming up in May! Seating is limited, and we always sell out quickly, so get your tickets soon! All mothers and daughters are invited!
- We still need a substitute teacher for the Young Married/Career Sunday school class. If you are interested, please see Mark Taylor.
- Creation Museum trip will be Sat. June 21. Cost will be $50 each; sign up sheet is on bulletin board in hallway. Plan now to have a fun, inspirational day with your church family!
- Don't forget to drop your spare change into the Lighthouse in the foyer!
- Bring in your used ink-jet cartridges for the Pregnancy Resource Center! Give them to Marilyn Meranda or Pattie Melin.
- We have medical equipment available for short term use - crutches, walkers, etc. If you need to borrow these things, please call the office.
- Ruth Walker is offering copies of her great DVD featuring some of her favorite songs for a donation to the Building fund. These are on the resource table in the hallway.
- Remember to bring in items for our "Woman to Woman" outreach project. We are also collecting items to send to our Soldiers overseas. These things are such a blessing to those who receive them.
- Save your old greeting cards and Christmas cards for St. Jude Children's Hospital. Turn cards in to Doris Parsley.

Welcome!
Pastor Ross Terry
Ye are the light of the world. A city that is set on an hill cannot be hid. Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works, and glorify your Father which is in heaven. (Mt 5:14 & 16)
We are called to be the light of the world, to shine the light of God's love to a world lost in darkness. How will they every know of God's love and His perfect plan to redeem lost sinners, unless someone sheds some light for them to see? That's the whole purpose of
"The Lighthouse Project "
We know that there are so many around us who need to know that Christ died for them, and that through Him, they, too, can have everlasting life!
We are making plans now to build a new building, so that we can reach more people. We have already purchased the land, and, as good stewards of the resources God has blessed us with, we are carefully and prayerfully planning a new building, with more classrooms to meet our growing needs.
"The Lighthouse Project "will have a tremendous influence on the future of our community. Your gifts to this project will affect the future of many, maybe even your children and grandchildren! Imagine the blessedness of having your grandchild come to know Jesus in the very church you sacrificed to help build!
Please pray for how God would have you participate in this project. Please continue to pray that our church may be a true lighthouse, shining the light of God's love to the lost and dying world around us.
