LITTLE REMINDERS:
- Don't forget to drop your spare change into the Lighthouse in the foyer.
- We have medical equipment available for short term use - crutches, walkers, etc. If you need to borrow these things, please call the office.
- Ruth Walker is offering copies of her great DVD featuring some of her favorite songs for a donation to the Building fund. These are on the resource table in the hallway.
- Remember to bring in items for our "Woman to Woman" outreach project. We are also collecting items to send to our Soldiers overseas. These things are such a blessing to those who receive them.

Women's Ministries
We have two Ladies Bible Study groups, for your convenience. They meet on Mondays, at 10 am and at 5:30 pm. These Bible studies are open to all ladies - you do not have to be a member of the church. Come out an enjoy the blessings of being a part of a small group as you learn more about God and His plans and purposes for you.
We will be starting a new study in just a couple of weeks. This one is titled "Me, Myself, and Lies" by Jennifer Rothschild. This will be a great one for all of us, and most especially for newer Christians. It deals with the ways we lie to ourselves, instead of believing the truths God says about us! You owe it to yourself to join in this terrific study and stop letting your thoughts defeat you!
We are also pleased to announce our new weight loss program for ladies, "Healthy Choices". This group is also open to all ladies in and around Monticello. Again, we will have two classes, for your convenience. We will meet on Mondays at 9 am and at 5:30 pm. The cost is minimal, only $1.00 per week. Whether you need to lose 10 pounds or 100, you have nothing to lose but your excess weight, so come out and join us, and bring a friend!
Do you have a special skill you would be willing to teach to a small group of ladies? If you do, please get in touch with me. We need YOU!!!! Some suggestions have been: scrapbooking, flower arranging, painting, excercise classes, knitting or other needlework, and quilting.
Our Women's Ministries department has something for everyone: opportunities to minister, and to be ministered to. Please let me know if you have any ideas for Women's Ministries, and how you can be a part of them!

The goal of our Women's Ministries Department is to address the needs of all women, to disciple them to become all that God desires them to be, and to teach them to serve Him faithfully in their homes, their jobs, their churches, and their communities.
Women's Ministries exists to:
LEAD women to accept Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior.
TEACH women to study the Bible and apply it in their daily life.
TEACH women the power of prayer, and help them become powerful prayer warriors.
HELP women discover and learn to use their God-given Spiritual gifts.
EQUIP women to enrich the lives of others through Jesus Christ.
SUPPORT each other as we face the ups and downs of life.
ENCOURAGE one another as we seek to be all that God wants us to be.
